Anthony is truly one of those larger than life characters. His zest for life is insatiably contagious and his commitment to his clients’ profitability is extraordinary. Anthony is the founding partner of RDC Partners and with over 30 years experience across reputable accounting firms, the Australian Taxation office and the big 4, he truly understands the value of every dollar. His client portfolio spans far and wide with industries ranging from manufacturing, retail and hospitality, through to legal, finance, medical and property. He also represents the epitome of a die-hard soccer fan, so if you haven’t already had the opportunity to meet Anthony, we suggest you don’t bring up the world game.
Most people aren’t morning people. Rowena however is up at the crack of dawn because she sees each day as the start of new possibilities. For over 10 years Rowena’s been bringing this positivity to RDC and helping clients with family businesses make a difference to their financial affairs. In 2018, Rowena officially became a director within the firm. Outside of work, Rowena loves to run – we mean really run and often in the company of her dogs Kensi and Gunny. It’s no wonder she has such a spring in her step!
Marco loves life in the fast lane – literally. On the weekends you’ll find him either racing his Renault 265 rally car round The Bend or mountain biking at full speed down a hill. But Marco also knows when to slow down and apply his technical and advisory skills that he developed over 12 years at two international firms before joining RDC Partners in 2016. Working extensively with privately owned family businesses, Marco has helped provide strategic, tax and financial advice to his clients across a diverse range of industries. As one of five siblings, Marco fully appreciates the importance of family.
At the tender age of 3, Alex stuck his foot under a lawnmower and thanks to some quick thinking, managed to save his little toe. Needless to say, Alex grew up appreciating the importance of protecting what you own. Coming from a family of small business operators in the Barossa Valley, he also knows the value of hard work. Alex is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Young and enthusiastic, Alex is continually growing his knowledge and skills in accounting, tax and business. And as a self-confessed sports nut, he’s never been shy of dipping his toes in anything new – luckily all 10 of them!
The old adage ‘practice makes perfect’ has never been more appropriate when it comes to Alycia. After all, the word ‘practice’ is in her official working title and trust us, there’s nothing Alycia hasn’t perfected. A self confessed perfectionist, coupled with having worked in accounting firms for most of her life, keeps Alycia at the top of her game. And having come from a big Greek family has equipped Alycia with the people skills to always deliver exceptional service with a big hearty smile.
Donna Strickland is a stickler for detail. Or should we call her ‘Donna Stickler?’ It’s probably a result of over 25 years experience in property management, coupled with her own love affair with interior design. Her personalised and tailored approach to client service has made her one of the most efficient property managers in the business. Charismatic, confident and diligent, her attributes are music to our ears. Her ears on the hand enjoy listening to live bands like the legendary Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac.
Matthew is a chartered accountant with expertise in the manufacturing sector. Funnily enough, Matthew also likes ‘making’ the most of every opportunity. None more so than having family and friends gather round to share in his love for board games that involve strategy, smarts, and a bit of luck. That same strategic thinking is also applied to his work, where he helps clients make the right decision. But it also helps him master three different languages including his latest endeavour – learning Swedish. Needless to say, Matthew’s always at the top of his game.
Joslin is a shining example of the expression ‘people person’. Although applying her skills and knowledge of accounting is something she embraces wholeheartedly, it’s the contact with clients and other staff members she loves the most. Which probably explains why she’s a go-to person at the firm. With a self-confessed Type A personality, Joslin thrives on her organisational skills both at work and at home. So, it’s no real surprise that she finds the time to cook and host family and friends on a regular basis. And if that didn’t keep her busy enough, she somehow manages to play netball and basketball three times a week! No wonder she’s so organised.
Rebecca is certainly kept busy at work managing the financial management aspect of properties for clients, but she’s just as busy at home. With two young children and one ageing German Shepherd, Rebecca is understandably kept on her toes. So, you can only imagine how much she looks forward to hitting her local gym for some well-earned ‘me time’. Perhaps it’s the regimented routine her PT puts her through, but whatever the reason, Rebecca brings an unwavering discipline to her bookkeeping skills that would put most gym junkies to shame.
